Training and career opportunities at Makyol
In-house and extramural training programs are organized in-line with employees' needs and career progression objectives so as to motivate employees and ensure their ongoing development, to maintain the knowledge and skill levels of our human resources at world standards, and to compete in international arenas. The analysis of training requirements is integrated into our performance management system and those requirements are determined according to current and future conditions.

Traineeship opportunities at Makyol and their requirements
Makyol provides traineeship opportunities in its offices and at its worksites to university students in the summer and to commercial and professional lycee students during the winter. The company does not offer trainee positions to graduate students however and all positions are in Makyol's operations in Turkey.
• In order to qualify for a position, a student's curriculum must have a traineeship requirement.
• Applications for summer (university student) positions should be made during the month of April in the same year by personally filling out forms at the company's Human Resources Department on weekdays during working hours. Applications for winter (commercial and professional lycee student) positions may be made from 15 August to 15 September during the same hours.
• Summer traineeships last one month. Winter traineeships are scheduled according to the school calendar.
• Trainees may take advantage of some employee benefits such as company-provided lunches and transportation.
• Traineeship applications are reviewed and assessed in light of the company's needs and capacity and are responded to within two weeks of the close of the application period.
